Jane and Des would like to thank all our customers, past and present, for your continued support and friendship over the past decade. Sunday 25th February 2018 will be our last trading day; the pub will be closed from Monday 26th February 2018 for refurbishment and will be open again two to three weeks later under new management.

A warm welcome awaits you at the Jolly Woodman. A beautiful eighteenth century country pub, situated close to the historic woodlands of Burnham Beeches; it is a perfect retreat following a long walk. Offering home-cooked food, real ales, and a friendly atmosphere. Dogs are of course welcome and we have plenty of parking

Monthly Jazz Evenings

For many years, the Jolly Woodman has hosted monthly jazz evenings. Our regular performers are The Dixieland Swing Kings six-piece jazz band, next performance date to be confirmed. We also host jazz, blues and funk band Upbeat, next performance date due to be confirmed. Come and enjoy an evening of free entertainment!

Look familiar? The Jolly Woodman has been used for an array of filming. This includes, but is not limited to: Genevieve, Carry On Dick, Man in the Moon, Made of Honor, Midsummer Murders, Riot Club, and more recently, Outnumbered
